All classes are subject to availability and may be cancelled at any time, under the discretion of the operator.
CANCELLATION
We have a 48 hour cancellation policy for all courses and workshops. We can’t offer a refund but you are welcome to ask a friend or family member to take your place.
If less than seven days’ notice is given, we will be unable to offer a refund, however, we are able to offer you a credit.
If more than seven days’ notice is given, we can refund or a credit for a different class.
RESCHEDULING
If more than seven day’s notice is given, you are more than welcome to reschedule your class. Please contact us by phone or email to request the rescheduling of your class.
MISSED CLASSES
If a class is missed, no make-up session can be offered.
MINIMUMS
We require a minimum of three bookings in order to run a class. If we do not meet this minimum, we may cancel the course at any time and offer you a full refund or a credit to attend a class of the same value in the future.
LIABILITY
All care is taken at all times in our studios however Firebird Studios and its employees are not liable or responsible for any accidental injury to students or any loss or damage to personal possessions or work in the studio.
PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEOGRAPHY
It is a condition of Firebird Studios that you agree to have photos/videos of yourself and your work taken and used for the purpose of advertising and that no payment will be made for the use of these images/videos.
INFORMING OTHER PARTICIPANTS OF TERMS & CONDITIONS
If you have booked a class for another person please ensure they are aware of our Terms and Conditions.
FINISHED WORK
Clay has so much beauty – however it also has a fickle and finnicky nature. It can crack and break at any of the many stages of getting clay to a fully glazed functional piece. This being the nature of clay, we cannot guarantee the success of your piece. It is a condition of learning the skills our studio, our shelves and our firing service that you are aware of this.
While we take every care and we love to see beautiful finished work come out of our kilns, Firebird studios and our staff will not be held liable for any work that does not make it due to cracking, breakage, mis-fires, kiln mis-fires, damage caused by other students in the studio and glaze failures
