Your teacher for this course is Lynda Lehmann who has a Bachelor of Ceramic Design – passing 3 years of glaze chemistry with distinctions! While the course cannot be as in depth as a degree course, or even a diploma course – it will give an exceptional overview and understanding of how to read glaze formula’s, how to test them and alter them, how to correct glaze faults, etc.

Please Note – at the time of putting this course up the entire world is affected by coronavirus. At this stage we do not know how this will affect Firebird Studios’ ability to deliver these classes in person. We have cut class size down from 8 people to 6 people so we can effectively practice social distancing. Should we be in lock down or should you be unable to attend due to isolation requirements, we will honour all courses and classes and deliver them to you – either at a later date, or via “in person” online strategies.
