Make a Large Vase Workshop
Saturday 19th March 10 am – 12 noon
In this workshop we will slab build an impressive large vase.
Handbuilding clay will be pre rolled for you ready to learn how to design your vase and make templates.
We will then plan the decoration for your vessel – with texture and/or white slip that you will carve back through.
Then we cut out and assemble your pieces. Finishing off with your carving and textures!
It will take a while for these magnificent pieces to dry, then they go through the bisque kiln and we glaze either with our studio white glaze or clear glaze if you have used slip!
